Sleep Apnea Assessment Results

Your answers may identify symptoms or risk factors commonly associated with obstructive sleep apnea. This assessment is for educational purposes and does not diagnose sleep apnea.

What Do Your Answers Mean?

If you answered Yes or Sometimes to questions about loud snoring, pauses in breathing, gasping or choking during sleep, daytime sleepiness, morning headaches, or waking unrefreshed, these symptoms may be worth discussing with a healthcare provider.

Having one symptom or risk factor does not necessarily mean that you have sleep apnea. Likewise, having few symptoms does not rule it out. A sleep study interpreted by a qualified healthcare provider is needed to diagnose obstructive sleep apnea.

Already Diagnosed with Sleep Apnea?

If you have been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea and have difficulty using or tolerating CPAP, oral appliance therapy may be an appropriate treatment option for some patients.

Ready to Discuss Your Options?

Monticello Sleep Dentistry works with patients and their healthcare providers to determine whether oral appliance therapy may be appropriate. If you have been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea, or have concerns about symptoms that may be associated with sleep apnea, we can help you understand the next steps.
